The Berand Estate Chardonnay was very lightly oaked resulting in a delightful wine. It has turned golden with age. Like all well aged Chardonnays the taste of honey is now prominent. Particularly enjoyable with veal, vegetarian dishes and curries.

The Hunter Valley is renowned for its Semillons and the Berand Estate aged Semillon upholds the tradition. The growing season was particularly hot and dry resulting in a beautiful Semillon that ihas turned golden in colour, has a delightful nose and a lovely ripe honeydew melon flavour. Very good drinking now and robust enough to enjoy with both red and white meats.

A stunningly good aged Semillon, some say this is our best wine yet. Light, crisp nose and palate of summer fruits. Great drinking now or will keep with careful cellaring for several more years.

The 2009 Verdelho vintage was the result of wonderful growing conditions and heavy pruning during the previous winter. As a result the vines produced less than 2 tonnes per acre which allowed Michael Delius the winemaker to produce this delightful wine. Drinking now, but will continue to drink well for 2-3 more years. A bronze medal winning wine at a good price.

Gorgeous fruit characteristics of lychees and citrus. A light, crisp wine in its youth, it is expected to age well over several years and develop the complexities and honey characteristics of great semillons. Enjoy with seafood and soft cheeses.
