Ruby’s Rose 2013

Berand Estate drew its name from Colin’s Grandmother’s maiden name Ruby Berand. She was the first woman born to European parents in the Kimberleys of Western Australia. At the age of 9 Ruby lost her mother. Ruby’s father didn’t consider the Kimberleys a suitable place for a young girl without a mother. He sent Ruby on horesback across the Nullarbor Plains to be raised by her Aunt in Sydney.

This delicious semi-sweet Rosé is made from Sangiovese grapes grown on our boutique vineyard in Lovedale. The wine is blush peach in colour and has a clean palate with overtones of cranberries and fresh crisp apples. Perfect for any happy occasion. Serve chilled.
